well -- they said the video is an exaggeration of what people thought they spent last year doing, like partying and stuff. I think that 'scene' refers to the entire entertainment scene, and how it's so crazy that it's like an arms race -- a war.
that's what i think, anyway. i'm probably not right, but i love fall out boy. and the song's awesome.
