I have 15 guppy babies and they are all about 3 weeks old. They are still small and have no clolor in them does anyone know how old they have to be to have colorful tails?

I'm kinda surprized you can't see at least a little color yet, but sometimes it waits until 4-5 weeks to start showing up. The big full color tails will be about the 4th month or so. It rreally depends on lots of factors. The more water changes you do, the more often you feed them and the cleaner you keep the water the faster they will grow and mature.

Depending on how well the fry are being cared for, some color should be seen during the 5th or 6th week. Such variables as water conditions,nutrition, temperature and tank size can all have an effect. As the fry grow full color will depend on all of these factors,an adult coloration could be a long time,(2 or 3 months,more.)-------Good luck.-----PeeTee
