It depends on your weight before you were pregnant.
If you were under weight, the safest weight gain would be around 25-30 pounds
Average weight, 20-25 pounds
Over weight, 15-20 pounds.
Congradulations and good luck..

It really depends a lot on the mother & the child/children she's
carrying. I baffled my doctor w/all 3 of my pregnancies. Even though I was overweight w/my first pg, I didn't gain any. I wghd
175 at the beginning, my wt flucuated 5lbs up, 5lbs down. Wghd 175 when I went in to have baby.I got down to 135 within the first yr afterwards.(my baby wghd over 7lbs) My 2nd pg, I only gained 18 lbs (baby was over 7lbs) & I lost all the wt w/in 3 wks. My 3rd was what was really crazy! I had gained back all my wt by then plus some. Started pg at 190lbs, gained 7 lbs the whole pg, HAD TWINS! (one wghd 5lb & 9 1/2 oz, the other 6 lb & 8 1/4 oz) I wghd 155 lbs 3wks after
delivery. Anyways, long story, but true, your doc should be able to
tell you how much you should gain. People told me all the time that I wasn't eating enough & I would have small babies, but you
can see they were all healthy! I actually ate very well while pg!
So don't let anyone but a doc tell you how much to gain!

I read during a school research project that one should gain at least 25 pounds total, but that really depends on your pre-pregnancy weight and your height, and how many kids are in there (aka if you have twins/triplets or not).
But from the information you have displayed, I would recommend talking to your gynaecologist, and ask him/her about it.

your weight gain is water and the extra blood flow due to the pregnancy. you should gain at least 25 lbs. Your weight gain is up to you because you are the one that chooses what you eat. Warning: pregnancy is the hardest weight to lose...My daughter is 2 and I'm still trying to lose the weight!!! consult with your doctor with how much weight you should gain!!

I have heard that 20 lbs is normal for the whole pregnancy but you will have to consult your dr.
