I have a check in pounds and my bank wont let me pay it in here in the US, any suggestions for what to do with it? Do any US banks take foreign checks?

There are places that exchange currency, that may be the place to take it, otherwise, you can try to find a bank branch of the bank that drew the draft in the US. There may be banks that are aligned, financial resources are intertwined on a grand scale today. It may have to be deposited if you use a bank that exchanges currencies.

What bank are you using? If you go to a national bank, such as Wells Fargo, they will cash your check. You should be able to just take it to the teller and deposit into your account.
