The highest scoring word ever played in National Scrabble Association (NSA) sanctioned play is QUIXOTRY for365 points. The Scrabble board is 15 spaces long, and I know of a game, played by two friends of mine, who got DISINFORMATIONS on their board, INFORM to INFORMATION to DISINFORMATONS.
