Such as knowledge of right and wrong, a conscience, love, sense of humour, grief, emotions etc. How are these things considered to have developed through natural selection. If you don't have a sense of humour or a conscience are you a target for natural selection?

It developed gradually, each step building on the last. Even animals have these emotions to a degree.

The human brain is only a couple steps beyond the brains of some of our wisest great ape relatives.

Chimpanzees have a sense of right and wrong although it is probably not as strong as ours. All animals have emotions, starting with fear.

Books have been written on this subject and it is too broad a concept to try to explain in this short format.
