Equal does not mean the same in terms of people. Equal means equal rights; the same implies the same characteristics and abilities. You know this as well as I, but nice straw man.

According to most religions. equal means all the people. Although the word equal can be taken in a controversial manner. Many people argue that the wordl cannot be taken for all.

I think this question would be better off asked in the Words and wordplay section or the philosophy section. IF you're looking for REAL answers, I think those are the sections you'd get on in. This section tends to think questions are hostile, and they respond in defensiveness.
