I personally would stay and see your grandma. Yeah, going with your friends to another state is one of those things you only do a few times in a lifetime, and it would be totally awesome, but think of your grandma. How happy she would be to see you. And how much of your love for her that would show by staying just to see her.

Good Luck!

What if this is the last time you will ever see your grandma? People don't last forever and if she dropped over with a heart attack you would wish you had seen her when you had the chance. this is a big measurement of your maturity. Can you give up something you want for someone else? You better call her and beg her to come the next week and if she can't you know what you need to do to not feel like a dirty dog. Good Luck and God Bless

You are on the edge of getting the dirt end of a raw deal !!
Darlin'--- you are going to have opportunities over and over again to have "get aways" with your friends-- you're young-- life is out ahead of you-- and right now-- it seems as though everything is going to always just simply be coming up daisies--- but the time you have with special people like your grandma is very limited---and every single time you miss an opportunity to see her and be with her will be times that you'll look back on later in life and ask yourself --- what the dickens was I thinking ??----
Your twin is going to get the better end of THIS deal--- and I'll bet that they don't miss a "break" later on like you're gonna miss a very special visit that you blew off (and let's face it --- that's what you're doing here) !!!

I think you should try make some time to visit with your grandmother. As a grandmother myself I would not expect my grandchildren to spend all their time with me but I do enjoy what time I do spend with them.I cannot tell you what to do because I am not the one who must live with your choices. i can tell you a little story that may give you some incite into how time is limited. My second grand -daughter only got to see my dad( her great grand-father) only once before he died.He was confined to a nursing home and due to Sars he was only allowed 1 adult visitor. When the Sars outbreak was over she was 3 months old and all she will have are a few photos of that day. My dad died 2 weeks later and my mom 10 days later .I miss my parents but they knew I loved them and I can sleep easy at night knowing that.. Make sure you use your time wisely and make choices that you can live with (regardless of the situation). Remember ,you can't hug a memory.

Maybe you can go on your leave for spring break after she is here visit with her a day or two and then go on your trip if that will work out for you or call her before you leave and visit with her on the phone. but it's not all the same.

Wow are you trying to tell us you actually care about someone else, other than yourself?? Wow i'm shocked! But then you had to go and ruin it by asking what you can do to forget about it!

Go see your grandma, she's making a special effort to come and see you, atleast pretend to be greatful.

I wish my grandmother was still here. I'd give her such a big hug, and tell her I love her.

You need to make time for your Grandma.
