I weighed like 110 when I got pregnant and I'm 5 months pregnant now and all I hear from my bf's dad is how big I am getting. All that's big is my stomach...duh! I have a 5th month baby in there and I have some love handles. I'm 5ft 7 and I wear size 5 pants. I cannot hear the end of my weight gain. I feel like I am gonna burst. What months am I supposed to gain the most? I hate eating in front of them cuz that's all I hear. Can you help me out?

Men can be idiots when it comes to womens weight gain. Isnt it annoying!? Like, it isnt easy keeping trim while pregnant and why should you? You are growing a human! If it were the men who got pregnant, they would turn in to hippos i bet. I know the guidelines say you need no more then an extra added 200 calories a day when pregnant, but, that is so difficult. Especially with sugar pangs. I am 34 weeks pregnant and stayed slim throughout my pregnancy thinking baby weight loss wont be so hard after his birth, but since this last trimester started i just can not stop eating!! I am always hungry. When i eat something, the baby jumps in glee. It doesnt sound like you are weighty one bit, and so what if you were. They are probably jelous they arent experiencing the glee of making a baby. Find something to mention to them, like an insecurity of theirs and say it to them when they comment but dont put up with it.

Some men are supportive and great when it comes to all aspects of the womans pregnancy. Those women are really blessed!

Dont worry, i am sure you look fantastic. Just do what you want to do, eat what you want to eat and be happy. If your happy, so will your baby be!

Tell them to shut up. You are creating a life, you have every right to eat. Pregnancy is not about being thin (if it is I think pretty much all of us are doing it wrong). If you don't eat it can seriously harm the baby (and yourself). You eat what you want and ignore them. They probably think they are being cute. Most people who make these types of comments about a pregnant woman think that it's what a pregnant woman wants to hear. If you wanted to be snide about it the next time someone (preferablely a woman) tells you about how big you are getting you make a similar comment about them (My, have you put on some weight?/Wow, you're looking bloated today, are you retaining water?) That will shut them up quickly and the bonus is they'll blame the comment on your hormones >:) So they probably won't even get mad over it.

I would tell them to @!%^ off. I havent seen a size 5 on me since I was 13 years old. How insensitive of these people. I was 120 when I got pregnant, by the end I was 180. After my first one I got down to the normal weight, it just took some time!!!!

It's natural for people to tell you you're getting big once your stomach starts to show. I'm sure they're just referring to your stomach. And from what you've explained you're pretty little anyway. I wouldn't be worried about gaining weight if I were you. I gained 40 lbs when I was pregnant. But I was tiny to begin with, so I looked great pregnant. And who cares about eating in front of them. You're eating for two now. You're obviously going to have to eat more. That's just the way it is.

In the last trimester you can gain a pound or so a week. You should expect to gain something every month.

Do NOT listen to your BF's family about your weight. Focus on eating healthily to give you and your baby the nutrients needed.

Well you ARE eating for two! If you don't eat, how will your baby get nutrition? Go to a website about prenatal care and nutrition and print it out. Put it on the refrigerator for everyone to see. Next time they say anything, point to the printout. You're doing exactly what you are supposed to do to be able to deliver a healthy baby. NO if's and's or but's about it!

Dont feel bad about it, eat if you have to, my fist pregnancy I went from 115 lbs to 200 lbs, where as with my second i went from like 150 to 195, my pregnancies were only about a year apart, but it all depends on the baby and the mother, don't let them make you feel bad. All else fails blame it on your bf...lol...thats what I did, I told him it was his fault i was fat.
