how can i have awesome death metal screams and growls without hurting my vocal cords?Using my diaphram or however u spell it works but i cant get loud enough.I would like to sound like Winter Solstice,As I Lay Dying or Norma Jean my favorite bands

i think you need to get a lot of excersice so your lungs can have more air capacity.You need to work out your lungs that way you can hold notes much longer and breathe in and breathe out more air

well, i sing too and i know what youre talking about..so id say drink something warm before and after you hit the note...gargle with it run your scales...and do your thing.
