i feel like i cant go on without them...i need them; to see them each day, hear what they say, be there when they need me....I would go days of solitude and only thinking of how i should have done something not to lose them

I have never "lost" my love for anyone or anything. It merely changes into a lesser degree of closeness, ranging from just someone I know, to out and out bitterness, to losing their physical presence because of death. But the love I held for that person prior to that separation is held and felt in the memories within my heart. When I think of those times long gone, I feel a sadness because I know those days are over. It's the true meaning of "bittersweet". Sweetness from the experience of human connection and compassion, bitterness for the void that's left when it is no longer there.

The hope that they are still with me in spirit, and I will see them again someday keeps me at arm's length from depression and self-destruction. Some people say belief in God and Heaven is folklore, and can't be proven, therefore shouldn't be followed. I say it's a ray of hope in the face of darkness in the world we live in now, a liferaft to prevent our own destruction if nothing else.

Blessings

Heartbreak, anger, sadness, the urge to drink irresponsibly, the urge to have sex with anything that moves, which leads to more sadness, guilt, a big box of all the pictures of you and her together which you carry with you when you move to a new state just to get rid of these feelings. The loss of cats, the loss of friends, the loss of the ability to feed yourself unless it's chinese and that gets old because they get tired of seeing you drunk at the counter. You lose your future, all those little things you used to say to one another, those are fish hooks. And when those get ripped out, you're the hunk of meat. It takes a long freaking time to get over that. Some don't make it, some do. It's like drowning.

If to be in love is like an ice cube melted and find completeness in the greater ocean.
If to be in love is like being a ray of sunlight one with the sun

To be out of love is to be lost in the great expanse of the ocean with no landfall in sight toss by the raw elements of our unruled mind.

To be out of love is to be a weak ray of sunlight in gross darkness. With no meaning to live. Cut off from the source of life.

You feel left alone in the dark...you feel entirely lost...You feel like your life has left you..or that yur heart has been ripped out for someone elses pleasure
Love isn't seeing a perfect person, it is seeing an imperfect person...but knowing they're perfect.

Have you ever been lost? It's a lot worse than that. And don't believe that crap about 'time heals all wounds', it just ain't true. I've been living with a broken heart for about 25 years, and it wouldn't suprise me if I die with a broken heart.

loss of all reason, a pain in your soul that never leaves, and hopes for tomorrow that make it even worse. not being able to see life as a short time, but knowing it will take all to long of a time.
