For myself I think some people can understand the plight of a father (Larry Birkhead) thinking he is the father and a dysfunctional drugged up Anna. Then there is multiple deaths.. a mystery. As Americans we love to root for the good. Yes, there are many sides to this lies,deceit,good,evil. It is the microcosm of the macrocosm. I think most people caught up in this are concerned about the child. Yes, she is only one child. There are many other atrocities out there. Maybe for some, it is the mystery of it all. Or they love a good horror show.

The reason why everyone is interested in Anna is that she turned her life into a long and continuous piece of performance art. No other celebrity have done that.
