I met him when I was a kid, got his autograph and it scared the crap out of me. I found him on a website yesterday and it brought back some childhood memories

Sammy Terry (a joke on "cemetery") is a horror film host played by Bob Carter (born in Decatur, Illinois), who formerly appeared on WTTV in Indianapolis, Indiana, and occasionally still does. His show originally aired late nights, but was eventually moved mid-day as well. He appeared in ghoulish makeup and a red cowl in a "Dungeon of Horror", and spoke in a rather low voice. Although he was ludicrous like most horror hosts, he was less campy than most of them.
