I boiled over water and milk while cooking noodles. Now it is so cooked on, I've tried different cleaning stuff and letting it soak. Any suggestions?

I use a good degreaser and a light steel wool .It works and doesn't scratch if you use it lightly.
Even just a brillo pad works.

Do not use abrasives. First, scrape the surface with a utility razor blade. Keep scraping until you feel nothing on the surface. Use a cleaner made specifically for glass top stoves. I have the same problem and this works beautifully. You can find both of the these things at Walmart.

Spray Tilex mildew on burned on foods on your cook top or regular stove top. Let the Tilex sit for about an hour and then wipe away with a rag. It is amazing, it works!

Vim and glass cleaner and a scrubbie when you are done spray it a second time with glass cleaner and wipe with a dry rag. It does take a fair amount of elbow grease but it works

baking soda, make a paste and let sit for just a few seconds, don't let dry completely. Or use SOS pad, either will work.
