im not a huge duke fan, but hansbrough is a lesbian who likes to play with dildos with roy williams after practice. They also like to do jumping jacks naked with each other and throw balls(basketballs, cuz neither of them have any other type of balls) at each other, and i cant believe henderson is gonna get suspended.

I have watched the replay several times & deem Henderson innocent. If he was trying to hurt Hansbrough he wouldn't have used an open hand like he did. Further, I find the disciplinary action by the ACC puzzling at best. ACC commissioner John Swofford has stated he though the officials made the right call by tossing Henderson & that the one game suspension was appropriate. Then Swofford went on to state "If I thought he did that intentionally, I would suspend him for longer than a game". So that means Swofford did not think Henderson did it intentionally. If he did not think he did it intentionally, then that means it was an accident and, if so, why is he being suspended at all???

difficult Foul... little doubt. Henderson wasn't finding at hansbrough and his eyes the place closed. Gerald Henderson replace into merely going for the ball, i do no longer recognize why human beings think of that Duke basketball is grimy. What motives are there? all and sundry at ESPN has a similar opinion with me, it wasn't a grimy foul.

This was an ugly intentional foul. I think Henderson did not intend to injure, but he clearly intended to make sure the shot was not made. I think players must be responsible for their actions on the court. An intentional foul causing an injury, especially one where the injured player cannot continue play, is grounds for ejection. The ejection plus the game suspension also shortstops a potential retaliation foul (with possibility of injuring another player).

If a player gets ejected twice, they should be suspended for the remainder of the season. Three strikes and they lose their NCAA eligibilty.

i doubt it, they only show the replays in slow motion, in real time there isn't enough time to really aim that precisely while your head is turned... it definatley was NOT intentional. Of course the stupid tar heel fans will say this though. Hansbrough shouldn't have been battling for a rebound with 15 seconds left , up by 10-15 points. And, if you want to talk about intentional cheap shots, look at that last 3 pointer thrown up by a tarheel, ( and missed of course). Yet right after that, Duke gets ball and just holds it til time runs out instead of trying to get an irrelevant 3 pointer.

Of course it was a cheap shot. He led with his forearm not his hands. He was upset because this was their worse loss of the year and he was probably the man who had the responsibility of blocking out Hansbrough. To Jim who said that Duke ran the clock out while Carolina was shooting 3's. The person who took the shot was Dewey Burke, ever heard of him? I don't think so, walk on senior who never plays. It was his only shot of the game.

I have referred basketball for 27 years and I have seen many hard fouls. This was an intentional foul as described in the rule book. The Duke player, from the angle of the blow, intended to hit the Carolina player, but I do not believe he thought he would inflict so much damage. It was also a flagrant foul, because I do not believe he had any intention of blocking the shot. Again from the angle of the blow, his hand was ****** from the elbow and did not come down from a horizontal position from which a block might occur, but from a mostly vertical angle. I just hate to see this type of action in any basketball game.

It was not a cheap shot because if you people see it in slow motion Henderson was going for the block and TH happened to be there. There are harder fouls in the NBA than that one, so if TH thinks that was a cheap shot, just wait till he gets drafted to the NBA.

I think it was a cheap shot also they said that he was going for the ball but his team mate had already knocked the ball out of hansbrough hands

Definitely cheap. The ball was out of Hansbrough's hands WAY before he decided to elbow him. But that's Duke for you.
