need to lace a 25 ft pine tree. braches over hagning house. can somebody help me. thank you

But truthfully, Dude, I think you should just cut the branches off the tree before they damage your roof. No mater what you do now, lacing, bracing, and chasing ---- those branches will need to be removed one day down the road.

Dustoff, that first link is NOT about lacing trees. And the second is about compost! Some answer!

To "Lace" a tree just means to remove branches between other branches so the end effect is kind of lacey. Does that make sense? Remove whatever is touching the house roof. If it is a Canary Island Pine or another columnar tree, remove maybe every 3rd or every 4th branch along the trunk. That will open it up and let light inside.

The irony of a good prune is that it grows back even better. Good luck.
