I went to the doctor on Friday. I do have a male doctor. He's super sexy too. So, when it was time for looking at my private he did things really different. Plus, it was my first pelvic exam. He told me to push against his hand. He also told listen to my private with that thing they use to listen to heart and other private areas. Please share your stories about going to the doctor.

Why the heck would a doctor listen down there?! Girl, as sexy as he may be watch it, report him to someone doctors should not be allowed to get away with those things. how else did he do things really different? Or was that it?

Well if you have a male doctor a female nurse should be present with you while the exam is being conducted. You dont mention that. I have a male doctor as well and a nurse is always present when my exam is being done. If you feel that this wasnt a doctor patient relationship please speak to someone you trust about it.

Um, that's weird... and I'm not going to share my gynecological stories with you... that's also weird. Change doctors... that doesn't sound normal to me. I've had 2 pelvic exams (I know, not that many) and I've never been told to do anything except lay there and loosen my muscles...

I have never had that happen to me.
It looks as though he did things really different, even though it was your first time. If you are concerned about anything you did, you should contact another gyn doctor to see if those are correct procedures, if they arent they I recommend that you talk to someone from administration at the hospital.

My doc is female, I've been going to her for years and when she's examining me down there, she always tells me to push like I'm having a bowel movement. But never against her hand! And she sure didn't "listen" to my area...
Yeah, you need to get another doc.

I'm a paramedic with many years of experience, and I've never heard of using a stethoscope down there. I agree with the others, you need to change doctors. Best of luck to you.

well i have a male doctor and he checked my private to but he doesnt tell me to push against his hand i think you should call the cops and have him delt with because that is sexual assault and you don't deserve that!!

i was in middle school and i had gotten hives and i have a male doctor feel my stomach and at first i felt weird but then i was like whatever. and when i was pregnant with my daughter i had a male doctor and he did my pap smear and he was talking to me and examing me. my husband was in the room with me and i didnt care and then he had examine my cervix and he had to put his finger in me to feel if i was dialated and that didnt bother me. because i wasnt sexually excited and number 2 he didnt say anything to make me feel weird. my husband was uncomfortable and i was like i didnt enjoy it sexually it didnt phase me at all.
