Hello there. Don't worry about your age, it's only been two months. I know it's hard to be patient. I was 36 when we conceived our #1 and it only took 3 months. We conceived #2 after only 1 month (and I was 38). We've just now started trying for #3. I hope our story gives you hope.

Your husband's condition should have no bearing on your ability to conceive. Good luck honey.

i'm afraid that u have a great sort of issues working against u right here, yet i do no longer think of that your weight is the main problem. all i will recommend is that u shop on attempting, and if after yet another 6 months u nevertheless have not conceived, then have a communication with your well being practitioner. there could be issues that they could recommend or medicine they can furnish u that could enhance your probabilities of turning into pregnant. (your husband will choose sorting out too, diabetes can consequence fertility. my ex had variety a million diabetes, and as a consequence of that replaced into infertile...) good success.

I am also trying to concieve at its horrible waiting every month!

But I have only been trying for half a year, when I reach a year, and still no baby, I will make my doct send me to a specialist.

The text book says wait a yr and see your doct.

But seen as there is medical history, and you are worried cos of your weight, I would go and see a doct now.

Good luck :-)

i would say there are a couple of factors against you... your age to some extent and your husbands diabetes, this will more than likely have some baring on his sperm count etc. You need to have a chat to your doc or family planning clinic who will be able to run test on how fertile you both are. HOpe all goes well

Your best bet is to see a specialist, who will be able to test you and your husband. Thirty eight is fairly old to be having a child and its possible that you, or your husband is beyond their peak. So see a specialist and go from there. You could always try IVF treatment.

i dont think your age would have anythink to do with it women older than you have got pregnant maybe your trying to hard it might have somethink to do with your husband medication i would say stop trying so hard and enjoy the child you have together now but if its really improtant to the both of you go to the doctors get some tests done or maybe try ivf

You might want to ask a Dr about trying to conceive while he is on those types of meds. And you are advanced maternal age as well so that might be a factor.
Good luck
