Like I don' t understand, i've never played it so I have some questions:

Is it free, is there anywhere I can download it for free?
Is it on computer, does it make my computer go slow? Is it on playstation, xbox?

Also what exactly do you do in the game, if it's an online multiplayer game, do you fight each other or what? Is it an adventure game, is it possible to "beat the game" or is it just a leisure game?

some please clarify what you're supposed to do, before I decide to play the game (my friend recommended I get it) but i've seen serious and I mean serious world of warCRACK addicts..

If you’re into playing video games and the like then one such game you should look into is the game World of Warcraft. This Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, or MMORPG for short, has to put it quite simply taken the world of gaming by storm.

To date the game World of Warcraft boasts over a whopping 8 million people playing it, with a staggering number of people playing it at any given time. It’s a large number whichever way that you look at it, and overwhelming to realize how many people are populating the world of Azeroth where the game of Warcraft takes place.

The reason for this is that the game World of Warcraft is quite simply one of the best MMORPG games around. Added to this fact are the enticements which come along with it such as the ability to create a maximum of 50 characters per account, with 10 characters allowable on a server.

Not only that, a player also has the chance of creating a character which suits their tastes, with a better than average number of character options open and available for players to choose from.

At the very beginning of the game World of Warcraft, players have the choice of choosing a character based on one of the two major factions which reside in Warcraft. This means that a player can choose from either the Alliance side, or the Horde side.

Once they decide upon this, a player then has the ability to choose from a total of 4 different races which are available each to a faction. This number goes up to 5 races per faction if you have the new Burning Crusade expansion pack.

And once a racial character is chosen, players of the game World of Warcraft, next get to choose from one of nine different class types. This is basically the identity of the person, i.e. whether you are an Orc of Warrior class, or whether you are an Orc of Hunter, Shaman, Rogue or Warlock class.

Of the nine different classes which are available in the game World of Warcraft, not all of them can be chosen by all of the races, for instance a Human cannot be of the class Druid, and neither can an Orc.

Once you finally get past that stage of the game World of Warcraft, you’re then confronted with which profession to choose from. This is what will keep you in money, potions, armor and skills.

With a total nine main professions to choose from (you get a tenth one if you have the expansion pack), you will find that you can be just about anyone you want to be on the game World of Warcraft.

You can create a character and take him or her through their paces. On the game World of Warcraft, you have the ability to live a life you would never otherwise have even dreamed about, and which can bring you hours and hours of great entertainment.

Hope this helps,
Dave

"Is it free, is there anywhere I can download it for free?"

**I recommend trying the 10-day free trial from the WoW website: https://signup.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/index.htm OR you can go to your local game store (Gamestop, EB Games, Software Etc., Etc. and purchase the 14-day trial CD ($2) (saves time on downloading) and try it out.

After that, World of Warcraft is not free. It is $19.99 for World of Warcraft (first month subscription is free) and $39.99 for Burning Crusade Expansion (I don't recommend until you have decided to devote the time to the game that is needed).

Subscription information:

WoW (60-day)Timecards (local retailer) $29.99 (so you don't have to use a credit/debit card)

(Credit Card/Debit Card Subscriptions:)
$14.99/Month
$13.99/Month (prepaid 3-months at a time)
$12.99/Month (prepaid 6-months at a time)
**Mind you, if you decide to quit the game while on a prepaid subscription, they do not refund your money***

"Is it on computer, does it make my computer go slow?"

Once it is installed, it will NOT make your computer run slow. However, I do recommend when you are done installing and have installed all the patches required, you do a disk defragment (START>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter). If the PC recommends you defragment, do so. It will move the files that are in bits and pieces on your hard drive closer together which will make your programs faster at opening.

Is it on playstation, xbox?"

It is not on PS or Xbox currently, it is a straight up PC game.

"Also what exactly do you do in the game, if it's an online multiplayer game, do you fight each other or what? Is it an adventure game, is it possible to "beat the game" or is it just a leisure game?"

The game is an RPG (role playing game), you create a character, do quests and dungeons to level your character, get new armor/weapons, make money, learn professions, and also have the ability to meet some pretty cool people in the process.

"fighting each other": yes, you can. There are such mini-games if you will called "Battlegrounds" where you join the other faction in battles such as "capture the flag" and see who wins. Another way of fighting would be to join a PvP server (player vs player) where you can be attacked or can attack in certain "contested" areas of the world at any time.

WoW I guess you would call it a leisure game since it keeps going with expansions. The point of the game is to get to level 70, get the best gear, and kick some ****.

"i've seen serious and I mean serious world of warCRACK addicts.."

"WarCrack" addicts hail from the game having so much to do, they can't stop playing. I, myself, do play a lot (my fiance and I both play), however, I also have a real life as well so WoW does NOT control me. I do NOT put WoW in front of anything.

I've been in love with Blizzard games since I was 14 years old. I remember starting with Starcraft, moving onto Diablo, then finally finding my true love and passion, World of Warcraft. I've been absolutely addicted to this game for the past few years now. It's such a beautiful, mysterious, but often complex and complicated world of mystery and intrigue. I have, at many times, found myself where you may be now... confused or stumped in some way- and not knowing exactly where to turn or what to do. Or maybe just unsure of how to advance, or reach the next level in my gaming experience. These road-blocks ranged from very simple, basic, or otherwise minor problems to complicated and complex issues. Both technical and in-game. I did and still do find GREAT help, on ANYTHING WoW related, within the infamous Zygor guides at http://www.zygorguides.pcti-system.com .. These guides are like the Bible of WoW, the Encyclopedia Britannica for anything World of Warcraft. My go-to guide for just about anything and everything. And unlike others, these guides are integrated IN-GAME. Listed below are some of the things that currently come to mind:

-1-90 In-Game Leveling and Loremaster Guide
-Dailies and Events Guide
-Dungeon and Gear Guide
-Professions and Achievements Guide
-Pets and Mounts Guide
-Titles, Reputation, and Macros Guide

...The list goes on and on.

Anyways, I hope I was of some help to you. Above all, my greatest recommendation to you from personal experience, is DON'T FORGET that there is still a REAL world out there! Lol. The biggest problem for me that I've come across is my absolute addiction to this game. Like many others out there, WoW has taken over much of my life and free-time. Proceed with caution! FOR THE HORDE! :P

It's not free. You have to pay 30 or 40 for the game, and then if you want the expansion you have to pay another 40. It's 15 a month after that, too. You have to have a pretty fast computer to play it, though.

It's an online multiplayer game. You can kill each other, or you can kill the mobs in the game. The point of it is to level to 70. (If you have the expansion. If you don't, you can only get to 60.) You get better gear as you go on. You can run instances with people. End game raids.

It's a pretty fun game.

As a now professional gamer, and leader/co-founder of one of the current top ranking guilds on WoW, I can attest to what that guy said about the Zygor guides from that website http://www.zygorguides.pcti-system.com .. When I first started using them, is when I started taking my WoW gaming to a whole new level. I wouldn't be where I am today without them. As advanced as I am now, I still use them as an awesome reference/aid. Highly recommended if you're serious about being an accomplished WoW gamer, or just a newb looking to quickly learn the ropes and advance. On a side note, I am looking forward to the Warlords of Draenor expansion coming in November, and the updated guide to go along with it. Should be epic.

LOL I love this question!!
Yes it is for the PC. you have to buy the game itself and then you have to pay 14.99 a month to continue to play it. (I think Guild Wars is better and no monthly fee for it.)
No you don't actually "beat" the game hence the world of warCRACK addicts!! Good Luck!!

You say goodbye to your life as you know it, and slowly waste away levelling up amongst legions of people you will never actually see, believing your helping people in all sorts of useless quests but in reality you're just doing it to get to a higher level, which will never be high enough.

Kinda like Yahoo Answers, really.
