i wager the reaction that u r attempting to do is oxidize oxalic acid ... in an oxidation/help rxn ...hmm ... i understand that with the upward thrust in acid, the solvation ability of the reaction can help you make the reaction proceeds to the right swifter... to boot, i imagine u desire a catalyst for this reaction... yet because there is not any catalyst reported, i imagine that expanding acidity will stress the reaction to the right -- oxidation of oxalic acid in line with Le- Chateler concept..
