I voted for him both times. I re-elected him because he had done such a good job the second time. Others voted for him last time around because the only other option was Kerry.

Bush was re-elected because of the "Big Lie" technique promulgated by the Conservatives: "If you don't support Bush, you're against America."
Of course, the people of America woke up in 2006 when they realized that exercising free choice is actually very American, and the people chose to send a message to the Bush administration that they are to be held accountable for their actions; that the current way of doing things needed to change.

Because typical of Bush.. he scared them silly with his stupid lies about WMD etc... and everyone was on edge because of the twin tower bombing. He lied his way in... and has been lying to us ever since.
People thought that he would go after Afghanistan with a passion and not stop until he had Bin Ladin. That is what the American people wanted.
However, he went, he crawled on to an aircraft carrier, flags a wavin and declared to the world " Mission Accomplished", when it wasn't and still isn't accomplished!
Then he went right after Sadaam like he intended all along.
He is a liar and his whole administration has been based on lies. Why was he voted in again.. because we all believed him.. we wanted to believe in him... but he has played us all as fools, all of us. Even those who are hanging on to him and trying to still think that his dishonesty will pay off.
He has done nothing for this country but get peple killed... he is without a doubt the worst president in the history of these United
States.

it's beyond me.....i have no idea how we could have done that....it's bad enough he was "elected" the first time....i think he'd be the kind of guy you'd want to be friends with in real life, but he isn't fit to be president....he lost my respect when he lied to us.
