I purchased a laptop from Best Buy a little over a month ago, (HP Laptop, Windows Vista Home Premium), however, it continues to get the blue screen of death while no programs are even running (even after it's been reformatted)!! I tried to take it back, as I don't want a buggy laptop, but they assured me they'd fix it. I got it back, with the same problem (repeat x2). Now, all I want is my money back. Is there anything that I could possibly do to get:
A) My money back
B) Store Credit
or (unpreferably)
C) A new computer of the same model?

Unfortunately the return policy at Best Buy is 14 days for PCs.

The only thing I can suggest is that you take it to a high level of escalation at Best Buy's corporate office. They may decide to give you a credit simply as a customer retention issue.

The drones at the store itself can do no more than follow policy.

Their rule is 3 times makes it a lemon. You have to give them 3 chances to fix it before they will return it. They should give you the options of money back, store credit or exchange. If they give you any hassle, grab your receipt and ask for a manager.

If it is still in the warranty period, bring it to the stores manager and let them know your situation and that it has been fixed 2 times all ready and if that does not work call the BBB

well, if you have your receipt go to your local best buy and talk to them about your options. If you did not purchase extended warranty then the basic warranty is probably 30 days. I suggest you give customer service a call or just head down to a best buy and explain you situation.

I'm sure Best Buy will stand behind their sale. Go talk with the store manager. But don't wait, the sooner the better.

Get you're recit and try to return it and if that doesn't work go to the big boss guy and in a mean but instructive voice tell him whats wrong and say if he doesn't do anything you will tell everyone you know how bad their service is.

Best Buy usually has a very nice return policy, so I'm sure you'll at least be able to get store credit if you simply go in with all the original packing material.
