I have never checked my cervix during ovulation, which I am trying to chart, ttc. So I checked about four days ago and I felt a small bump on my cervix by the entrance. I have been checking on it every other day...and today it seems to have less of a bump to it. Is that normal to happen around ovulation?

I have had my share of cervical problems. In 2005 I had a conization to remove cervical cancer. I also checked my cervix to ttc. I am now 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. So let me say this ......First off it could be several things so to have your doctor check is the best. Second try not to worry. If you felt a bump it could be what they call a skin tag....perfectly normal. It could just be a change from hormones and that is why it is smaller now. When you get close to ovulation the cervix changes. If it is a tag they will let it there unless it becomes bothersome. If it was of concern I dont personally think it would shrink. I think if I felt a bump that stayed I would worry. Go have it checked and Good Luck.

I have a bump to comes & goes also. I've had it for the last 2 years. I have brought it to the attention of my doctor. It is nothing to worry about. She said it was a scar growth. Sometimes it just happens. But, then again, you might want to bring it up to a doctor to make sure that it is not a problem in your case. I am now 25 weeks pregnant & have been tested for eveything under the sun, & I am completely normal, no problems.

I've never checked my cervix so I'm not sure if it is normal. You want me to check real quick? LOL. Just kidding.
but anyway, I would suggest going to the Dr. or calling the Dr.s office and just asking the nurse that way u can spare the office expense. Hope that helps. Good Luck

could be cancer or you could have hpv wich can show no symptoms or cause genital warts that may also form on your cervix.
