How do I split a 599 MB movie. I only want the last quarter of it.?

How do I split a 599 MB movie. I only want the last quarter of it.?

I have tried "HJ-Split" & "MasterSpliter". The first half (or part) plays fine when split with both of those programs but the 2nd half (or parts) doesn't. Do I need to include the code of the 1st half? & if so how?
