chipmonk, that's kinda a 'trick' question....seals in the polar regions aren't exactly running on daylight savings time...ya know what i mean..?
But, for the sake of debate, lets give them the benefit of expertise, and assume they are astute enough to determine what tidal forces there may be where ever they live that 'DO' or DO NOT give them motive to hunt for there sustenance,...
That is relevant, because the food berance of an 'incoming' tide, vs an 'outgoing tide' motivates that animals habitability..every bit as much as does the oceianic currents ..
