I'd just say to wear it for that day... It's not like you have to wear them outside right? So it's only you and your mom know. If it means something to your mom and it's not a lot to do... why not make her happy just for once?

go for it. just about everybody wears something green. I'm sure some guys will think that its very hot.
If you really don't want to, then just tell your mom that you will have to show people that you are wearing something green.

Wear whatever you want to, but eat breakfast out of a dumpster. As you experience simultaneous gastric/colonic eruptions you will have more than enough green on you to satisfy the leprechauns. Thanks for asking!
