Omigosh.... i can't believe it takes a girl to come in here and explain this...
A muffler is not going to do anything except slightly alter the sound of your exhaust.
I don't really know anything about fuel efficiency because I've always been more concerned with gaining power vs. saving gas.
However, I would think that the same rules apply... you will have to change your exhaust and your intake systems.
If you put a more restrictive exhaust system on your car, with the original intake, you will have the same amount of air coming in with less room for it to escape, hence limiting your power. Going the other way (larger exhaust) is just as bad.
To swap out both the intake and exhaust for quality systems, you are looking at easily spending $700+.
And I highly doubt that any of that work will save you that much money in gas, so I just say leave it alone.

Well you are asking about saving gas so I'm going to say stick with your stock exhaust system. But if you just put an aftermarket Muffler on there you shouldn't notice that much of a difference in gas mileage or power. Make sure you keep your catalytic converter(s) if your concerned about your gas mileage.

I do understand what you advise and that i do not imagine you're stupid, who says 13yr olds can't get melancholy? besides what you're declaring does sound like a complicated problem yet you nevertheless opt for to settle down or you'd be bald via 30. i'm sorry to listen on your mum lost a baby at 18 yet imagine of it as this- imagine you've been that child and performance merely been born into her existence back in a diverse variety, do not imagine yu had an older sibling who did not make it. i'm assuming your moms and dads are not mutually, and once you've an issue along with your dad and do not get alongside, then overlook about him and manage him like quite a few different strangern although if he loves you and also you understand it, then do not stay away from him- attempt to understand him, cos a minimum of you've a dad. Many peoples grans are strict yet when your gran is quite strict with you, you've understand theory how strict she become your mum- attempt to be magnificent to her and say small jokes to make her snigger (no knock knock jokes doesn't artwork- believe) and that i'm certain you receives alongside see you later as you do not do something do look spoilt in the front of her. melancholy is a risky weapon and it may replace your existence... For the more serious in case you do not replace it your self first. Be happy you've a mum and visit her usually, assure her that you care and also you're there for her. in case your melancholy receives worse visit a pediatrician (they extremely understand you earlier advising- they're little ones gps/ well being care service). do not problem. Everythings gonna be allright ;)

A low restriction muffler would offer the biggest gain, since that's where the most resistance is. A low restriction muffler from flowmaster, or any other company should help.

You are barking up the wrong tree to save gas. Modify your driving habits, get a vehicle with the fuel mileage rating you are looking for.
