When your in the eye of the hurricane I think their blue cause most people think that it's over. That's what I'm told I don't know for sure though.

They are bright blue and clear you would never know there is a storm going on. I have lived through many and been in the eye as recently as 2 years ago.

The sky is blue. It is eerily quiet. If you look by the wall as the backside approaches, you can see birds flapping their wings and flying but their bodies are moving backwards with the winds rotation. Its a crazy experience but one I will never forget.
