Let him go and not try to stop him....i guess the saying is true, if you love someone you will set them free and if they love you they will return...he didn't return though but that is life I guess :(

Hmmm I lied to them to protect their feelings. And, lets see my grandma was more or less the mother in my life. It was well known throughout the family that when she passed she wanted me to have her wedding set. Because I was the first granddaughter .However at the hospital minutes after her passing my aunt put me on the spot and asked me if she could have them. Seeing her so distraught I agreed. Maybe a month ago she no longer has it in her possession because her 20 year old son had a party at her house when she was away and someone stole it. About a week after the incident she got engaged with a new ring and now has lost interest in getting my grandmothers ring back which was initially suppose to be mine, but now its gone. So as not to upset her or come across the wrong way as I'm often mistaken Ive kept my mouth shut. And that is very hard for me to do. But I have because she was her mother.

The hardest thing I have ever done for a loved one is to have my son committed twice to an institution for mental illness. Now he is a contributing member of society with a Bachelors and MBA and a GPA of 3.9. Guess it was worth it.

Giving my daughter CPR after she drowned - age 3. Fortunately she'd only stopped breathing for a short time so I managed to save her so probably the best thing I've done as well.

My favorite Aunt was dying from lung cancer.I had been praying for her to be healed. All of her life she had lived in sin and after being diagnosed with cancer she excepted Jesus in a really big way.You could see Jesus in every thing she done.As I stood by her hospital bed she asked me to pray with her that Jesus would take her home to be with Him.After the prayer she opened her eyes as if expecting to be in heaven.I told her that Jesus would be there soon to get her and not to worry.I read her the Bible as she feel asleep. She was in a Hospice unit and after she had fallen asleep I went down to the nurses station. I asked them how on earth they could deal with the depression in this place. Not one of their patients ever got better.Thats when they explained to me that for those who had excepted Jesus received the ultimate healing.Their last breath here was their first breath in heaven. I began to realize how selfish I had been with my Aunt and now started to pray in a different way. Later on she awoke long enough to tell me that she could see Jesus, even pointing upward as the martyr Stephen did, saying "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God" Acts 7:56. She fell asleep not to awake again here but in heaven. I now have a different outlook on death and say with Paul "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" Philippians 1:21.

Lied to family and friends and in the end it will drain you, so there comes a day when you have to say enough is enough.
