I am sitting in the same boat as you. I am engaged but he is the one with 4 kid and we do the same thing. I am suppose to get married in November. I am scared to call it off. But I love him so much. If you do, pray about it. God will see you through what ever it is that you are going through.

This question depends alot on whether he is the dad of your kids which you didn't make clear. If he is then you should try some counseling before you get married to learn to communicate with out all the fighting. If you really love each other you can make it work. If you don't learn to talk to each other, your life and your kids will be horrible. It's not fair to bring kids into a unhappy marriage. They feel, and see more than you know.

Talk about it with your significant other. You didn't explain the situation so how is anyone on here going to be able to know what you should do. That sort of thing happens once your in a relationship for a while and have kids. It's not always fun.

Do you guys get enough alone time?
Do your kids cause some of the problems?
Does he hurt or hit you?
Does he cheat?
Verbally abusive?

What are your grounds for leaving? If that's what you want to do.

That is a very bad situation for your children. You are teaching them that this is the way adults act in a relationship.
Get some marriage or couples counseling. The marriage won't work if you are fighting now. And you are hurting the kids. Think about them.

If you're fighting all the time it can't be good for the kids. It's a hard call but I'd say call it off and find someone you get along with.

Well girl if you are having problems with someone you are going to marry, with three kids, are you willing to stay, with him, and do you know what he is capable of doing. Ok well this is my advice, and talk to him, and say if you love me and you want this to work then we cant keep fighting becuase fighting with me is drawing us farther and farther apart, and if he loves, you things will get better, and when you fight remind him of what could happen

My question is why do you guys fight? I think you should find the root an work from there. I was reading this website when me and my boyfriend was having problems. We are doing better because of it. Good luck on your journey.

trust me - the kids would rather be in a happy household. get out of there. its not right if your always fighting.
the kids want to see their parents happy and if that means happy apart from each other, then so be it!

tell him you cant take the fighting all the time and that it's over unless he agrees to couples counseling first

well, what do you guys fight about?? if its over your kids, who do you love the most?? i would break the relationship off if its over your kids, because they're more important.
