Well, to get straight to the point. I am African-American and my husband is Caucasian. We are young and I was wondering if there was a place maybe online that can show up best possible places that are multicultural where we would feel comfortable living in and possibly raising our family. We were thinking about Georgia or somewhere down south because we are from Ohio and tired of snow. So, if anyone can help me out, I would highly appreciate it. Thank You

Sadly I can't answer your question because I've never lived in a multicultural community. However, I'm young and looking for a cool multicultural environment too. I've lived in the South my entire life and I would not recommend it to ANYONE. Some parts of the South are still segregated into white and black neighborhoods, it's ridiculous! The bigger cities of the South however, are great places and actually have history and a multicultural environment. I've visited Atlanta, Georgia and I think that it's a great place. Also I liked Houston, Memphis, and New Orleans. I would advise you to take a trip down here before you move, okay. I hate to judge entire places but the smaller cities of the South can be very racist and too close knit for comfort....... Anyway, do some actual research for yourself because some things in the good ole' South ain't changing anytime soon. (Some Southern places aren't Southern anymore, ex: Southern Florida and some Metro's of the South) And unless you're a really strict Christian, watch out for the Bible Belt part of the South.

New York would be great, but it may be a little expensive.
I would not venture too far out of the city in some southern areas. I grew up in Kentucky and remember a guy(black) several men in town were looking for because he got a white girl pregnant. And I was born in the 80's.
Arizona is nice and warm, Albuquerque is multicultural but the schools are bad and crime is high, so I don't recommend if you are working class or have kids(or want them). I recommend any city in AZ, I think you'll really like it. Seriously, don't move to Juarez, I live very close
to them and it's not a safe place, particularly for women. They have a habit of getting raped and killed.

Do some research on Columbia, Maryland in Howard County. While white people make up the majority there are many different races and everyone generally gets along. Plus people dont make a big deal about interracial couples, they just see it as a couple. Its a quiet and safe area but it might be expensive but it will be worth it if you are looking for a diverse and tolerant area. By the way it hardly snows here and when it does it doesnt get past like 4 inches so its nothing.

Phoenix metro is a good place. Everyone hear is from somewhere else. Also, everyone is too busy complaining about the heat to care what you are.

Also there is a bonus. If you don't like snow, all you have to do is stay out of the mountains. But, on those rare occations when a little fun in the snow is required, it is a short trip up in the mountains to find the powder. When you get tired of the snow, you just go home.

Come and live in NYC with us, girl! (lol not rly with us but i mean with all new yorkers) There is no discrimination ever here, I grew up here all my life and there is no discrimination for biracial couples or children or any race for that matter. (To tell you the truth if I didnt have Tv or internet I wouldnt even understand what racism is, I didnt when I was young) I live in Queens, which I believe is the best borough for raising a family. Everybody gets along.

(although I admit I havent been to all parts of NYC, I heard suffix county is actually quite segregated, obviously so is harlem etc. so i strongly suggest you live in Queens like I am, where there is no discrimination) Oh and im afraid its a temperate climate here, a very even winter/spring/summer/fall distribution, so its cold sometimes yes, but only for 3 months. Certainly tolerable. most schools are well heated and just buy a jacket and your all set.

Would suggest New Mexico. Has surprisingly progressive social legislation. This I base on the fact that my brother received help from the state so he did not have to pay for an essential operation.
Personally I would live in Mexico if you can. It's fantastic. Even if you lived in Juarez and commuted into Texas it's way better than some dull bedroom community in the US.
The UK where I live has so many different cultures trying to get along we all hate each other equally.

I don't believe the south would be such a great idea. Maybe up north to Boston to a city called Lynn. Here's what they say about Lynn: Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin, you'll never come out the same way you went in. What that means is that just about everybody who moves to Lynn ends up in an interracial relationship. Also New York would be a good place.
