I have noticed that a lot of Arena Football League teams do not last very long. The most some teams last is around 5 years. I was wondering why do AFL teams usually do not last for a very long time?

I think after the regular NFL and college football season is over, there just isn't that much interest in more football. Sports fans turn their attention to other venues.

They don't get much attention, not enough money in the sport. So owners have a hard time breaking even let alone making money. Most owners of a buisness want to MAKE MONEY.

They're in smaller markets, so if they're not winners or profitable, they lose the lease on the arena they play in.
