I would get to know a few of the associates at your local wal-mart. they can tell you if any are on order and possibly call you when they come in. That's what I did!

RE"well, where are all of them? I did not get the opportunity to sit on october the 19th for 15 hours (darn) haha. I have been looking all over the place for 3 months now. Right now i could go out and get a ps3 easily. I knwo they are more expensive, and i don't want a ps3 vs. wii debate. but does anyone know where all the wiis went? or when all of them will be available to the casual gamer (as in, someone who doesn't want to sit in the street for 15 hours for a game console)
thanks. "
well they all soled out belive it or not.
And USA needs to have more shipments to buy them in store, but of course theere $1000 on ebay :)

Nintendo has consistently had a superb attractiveness for attempting to be sure there are adequate of their products to bypass around. the only query here is whilst the subsequent shipment would be popping out. the launch date is eleven/19, extra effective than a month previously Christmas (12/25). It seemes like they could have adequate time to get out yet another shipment, even despite if that's smaller than the unique launch shipment. even if, merely to be on the secure factor, i might pre-order it. Amazon, even with the themes they have been having with Wii pre-orders, have not formally come out with the pre-orders yet yet you will get an email to enable you recognize whilst they do.

I got mine on Ebay, so I didn't have to wait in line either. I paid about 100 more than retail but I think 15 hours of free time compared to 15 hours of sleeping on the street was worth $100.
They say it should be available this spring, meaning end of this month or beginning of April.

Hiya,
you can purchase a Nintendo Wii thru any trusted 3rd party seller directly at Amazon. They have good feedback, deliver on time, mostly are merchants themselves simply and Amazon operates as the platform, in fact the purchase is processed directly via Amazon as you would usually buy from them.
You might check it out at
http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FNintendo-LU502934445-Wii%2Fdp%2FB0009VXBAQ%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fqid%3D1166291892%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dvideogames&tag=advertiwillbe-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325
and then click on "See all buying options" at the right. That's just in case Amazon themselves don't have the item in stock.
This is actually currently the best choice to get your hands on a Wii at all - without any hassles.
You might also try out ebay:

or Ebay express where only selected and trusted merchants are accepted:
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=1931119&mpre=http%3A//search.express.ebay.com/__Video-Game-Systems_nintendo-wii_W0QQ_nkwZnintendoQ20wiiQQruZQQPlatform7397cc93ZNintendoWiif813746cQQ_fxdZ1
Hope that helps.
Best wishes
Mike
