that'd be awesome, that'd be Tigers 2nd time winning the WS in my lifetime, 1st time me bein able to see it, in 84 I was only 3, and Red Wings have won 3 (97, 98 and 02), and Pistons have won 3 (89, 90 and 04), now we'd just need the Lions to win a Super Bowl for once, but seein Tigers win a WS would be twice as awesome for the city of Detroit as Pistons and Red Wings even were, cause NBA is mostly a black sport, and NHL is mostly a white sport it was big when those 2 teams each won the 3 Championships since 89, but baseball is a sport everybody even girls in Detroit would follow the whole playoffs of very close and the whole city got so excited and the bars I was goin to were like 3 times more crowded during the ALDS than they were during the 04 NBA Finals or the 02 Stanley Cup Finals, so that'd be awesome to see Tigers end there 23 year drought in 07, and I looked at there other years they won the WS, and 3 of the 4 times they won a WS, it was the year right after STL Cards won a WS in 35, 45 and 68, and won it 2 years after STL Cards in 84

well the Detroit Tigers got Gary Scheffield and that will give the Tigers a big hitter. They also got some young pitchers that will get better during the season so I wouldnt be surprised if the Tigers make it again to the World Series Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!

i'd be happy as hell. it's a shame the tigers didn't get it done last year. the faded in the end of the regular season, then kicked butt in the playoffs until the world series. that long layoff between the alcs and the world series killed them. but this year they are bringing back pretty much the same team with a full time dh. the lack of DH was their biggest weakness and now with sheffield as DH they will be one tough team. and we still have cameron maybin on his way up and the next randy johnson andrew miller.

i does not be suprised. they have the aptitude to attain over 1000 runs, and according to danger ruin the only season checklist. besides the undeniable fact that, thier pitching is extremely of a question mark because of fact they choose Willis, Robertson, Rogers, and Bonderman to have extra advantageous years than final. in addition to, the bullpen isn't that sturdy (if the only good pitcher is Jones, you have issues). With thier flaws, they're nonetheless between they're interior the perfect 5 with a raffle of triumphing the series. people who like the SF Giants. they are going to suck this year.

Rooted for them last year, well, I was mostly rooting for Mags since he was one of my favorite players for the White Sox, so I would be happy for them. I respect them as a good team.
However, there seems to be a lot of douche-bags fans of theirs here constantly talking trash. So that has soured me on the Tigers quite a bit. Go White Sox.

hey Wilbur Slice you must not have any contact with the sports world if you say that Detroit doesn't win much. ever hear of the Pistons who won it, and the Red Wings who seem always to win.

I wouldnt be surprised. They got there last year, and they didnt lose anybody this offseason. They got a big bat in the middle of the line up in Gary Sheffield, and their young pitching staff will only get better as they mature.
