No way! we screw things up enough when we choose who we marry on our own. it would be worse if we less control of that. we should however, wait til we're at least mature enough to know what we want in a spouse, and even that is questionable.

Sure why not, maybe it prevent some people who shouldn't be marrying from getting married. The divorce rate in the US is 50%.
