what are khaki pants what makes them different from regular pants or jeans
its because im omving to a new school and our uniform involves tan khaki pants with baby blue collared shirt
isnt that color cute for a uniform?

they just look nicer and more professional and they bring equality among students. so no one feels inferior.

khaki is actually a color not a pant. The actual style of the pant is called chinos. But like a xerox machine is generic term for a copy machine, khakis are generic term for chinos. They are usually a nice cotton pant. not denim. to me they are regular pants. But then I wear them every day and have them in colors ranging from khaki, black, navy, white, light blue, etc. Check out stores like gap, jcrew. Gap is all about khaki right now.
your uniform sounds nice. I love light blue with khaki.

khaki is a color but is used as a general term to describe the pants- they can be any shade of tan/brown/nude etc. they are still considered casual but a step up from jeans. very affordable and easy to find.

Khaki pants are light in color, like a beige color. Not white, but kinda creamy colored.

i go 2 a school with uniforms 2 && evry1 wears khaki's ~ really popular in california (esp. sacramento)
