I'am taking this Intro African American studies class, and i have to define the word Afrocentercity, and i can fined it.

The problem is that you're spelling it wrong.

It is Afrocentricity.

Did you mean: Afrocentricity? That would mean something based on Africa or Africans or Afro-Americans.

Example: A food aid program designed for nations in Africa would be Afrocentric. So would a midnight basketball program designed to keep inner-city, primarily black, kids off the streets.

Or... If I was to say that everything about being black is "normal" while saying that all non-black attributes (like blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin) is "abnormal," that would mean I was taking an Afrocentic attitude.

So something's Afrocentricity is kind of a loose measure of how much that thing is based on an African/AfroAmerican model.

And you might try doing an internet search.
