How does the movie American History X reflect the real-life situation in our society with regards to Hate groups?

Who are the people most drawn to these groups? Why?

i love your question. im not sure i can give you an accurate answer. i've never been involved in any hate groups. i believe the people that are drawn to these groups are the ones that think they have no future, all they see around them is violence and wrong doing and hate. maybe they join because they are afraid not to when approached. maybe they join for a sense of family because they come from broken homes, maybe they are lured in from poverty by the "bling" they see sported by gang/hate group members. maybe it gives the weak minded a sense of control or respect. there are many reasons why someone would join and many do. what we as a society should try to figure out is how to save these children from this suicide of the soul and show them a better and safer way. its frightening, and so are all those hate groups. i suppose if there were a difinitive answer there would be a solution and this would not exist.

I will tell you why I am drawn to that movie, because Edward Norton looks HOT!!!!!!!!
