F is the strongest, so 1. Cl will be the positive end
Cl is the strongest, so 2. I will be the positive end

In O2, N2, Cl2, F2 H2, Br2, I2, the electrons are shared evenly.
Halogens are all electronegative, but they are strongest on the top of the column, decreasing as you go down

1. Chlorine is positive
2. Iodine is positive.

While they both are usually (electro-)negative, their electronegativity in relation to the anion is less, meaking them anions.
