do u guys think Ganguly would have been a better choice as a vice captain then tendulkar in the indian cricket team considering that ganguly is one of the most succesful captian in the history of indian cricket and do u think tendulkar will be under pressure for being the vice captain of the team cuz history shows that tendulkar perform bad when he has an extra responsibility, i think selectors have made a bad decision in regards of tendulkar being the vice captian.

I personally think your observation is correct on two counts.
Firstly, why pressurize Sachin Tendulkar unnecessarily in a match of World Cup's stature when you need lots of run to make your mission a success.
Secondly, the healing process of Shaurav Dada would have quickened and the re-assimilation with the team-members would have been done at the same time too with honorable re-entry of Ganguly.
In any case, if the WC is in Indian hand then Sachin can do double rejoice. Otherwise, some explanation would be needed on this single count of choosing the VC.

I fully agree that making Tendulkar as Vice Captain was not at all a vice decision. I strongly feel that they should have appointed Yuvaraj Singh as the Vice Captain, so that he will get enough exposure about leading the team by the time Rahul Dravid retires.

I don't think that it makes any sense to make Sachin or Ganguli a vice captain. Maybe they should make Yuvraj a vice captain.

WHEN TENDULKAR WAS ANNOUNCED AS VICE-CAPTAIN,THAT TIME ONLY GANGULY REJOINED THE TEAM AFTER 1.5 YEARS.SINCE OUR INDIAN TEAM PLAYED EFFICIENTLY IN THE LAST TWO SERIES SACHIN CONTINUED TO BE A VICE CAPTAIN.
