Surely he will have a shave before going to work so wash in the morning to soften the beard and get a better shave.A morning shower wakes you up and sets you up for the day.
There is no reason why he cannot also spend 10 minutes to freshen up as soon as he returns from work.Commuting is grimey and you are allowed to wash more than once a day.

It really depends upon how much he grows facial hair and how does he look when he gets out of bed. If he looks like I do when I get out of bed - my hair is standing up all over the place and I have a heavy beard evan though I might have shaved at night then I would recommend he shave and clean up in the morning.
If he can get out of bed in the morning after showering & shaving at night and his hair looks washed and not greasy then I would do it at night.
In my case I must shower and shave in the morning - hair is wild and my facial hair is dark and I look unshaven so I must shower and shave in the morning - good luck on the new job. Do you need an assistant from Albany NY to work with your boyfriend. I am unemployed

Hey, I've got an idea.
Get him to wash tonight obviously ... then (purely for stress relief) take advantage of the obviously rare situation ... but make sure you get him all sweaty again before morning... then if he showers before work he won't be ranking up the new workplace with love juice ... and he will have something to brag about over morning tea.
good luck

Well unless he sweets a lot and has a real problem then he washes tonight and he should be fine.
Shower in the morning makes you feel a lot better though.

Why doesn't he just sleep in his clothes as well , washing helps to wake you up in the morning , clean teeth= clean breath, if he's that worried about getting more sleep why doesn't he go to bed earlier

Did that commute for years and always shower in the morning. That becomes routine and there is no choice in the summer if he doesn't want to smell.

He should go to bed earlier at night and wake earlier in the morning allowing time to complete personal care and to have a bath or a shower. He should also use a good anti perspirant. Good luck to him in his new job.
