Can I skip a period on the contraceptive patch? I presume I just wear a patch on my patch-free week. And if I do am I protected from pregnancy?

I don't think it works like that. Ask a pharmacist if you haven't got time to see the doctor. I think you risk feeling sick, having breakthrough bleeding and not being fully protected against pregnancy. i would check to be on safe side.
