our high school basketball team is going to state saturday and i am the senior leader of "the black hole" our student section. We're lookin for some new cheers to use at state. we already use mosto f the geneic one:

A personal favorite at our school is
"You traveled, you traveled, you took too many steps, the next time you travel take the B-U-S"
And we have big signs with the letters 'B-U-S'.
We also mix it up with F/T chants. Sometimes we'll have one of the guys scream " I say BOOM BOOM BOOM, now lemme hear you say WAY-OH" then everyone else screams "WAY-OH" Its from some lame song.
Then of course we have "Hey #__!!! Your mom's a, HOOOOOOOOOO" We ocassionally get in trouble from our AD for this so we do other stupid things, us recently having the blizzard of the century, we tried "We had no school last week becuase of the, SNOWWWWW"
If the other team passes the ball out of bounds and it hits someone or they catch it "They're not playing"
Also, perdonalize the chants, for example, in a recent game, their PG got suspened for like a day froms school for skinny dipping..."Let's go swimming"
Pick 2 players on the floor, the PG and an inside man, when the PG is bringin the ball up the floor, scream "BOINK" everytime the ball hits the floor, when he passes it off chant "OOOH" (I'm in charge of this and use a dry erase board for the players #)
A recently aqquired taunt we aquired from another school, that annoyed us greatly, is to be blatantly obvious during the game "DRIBBLE! DRIBBLE! DRIBBLE! PASS! STAND!"
"Put up the Fence. Put up the D-Fence"
Also, try the 'Cameron Crazie' approach and jump up and down and OOOH the opening tipoff and every defensive possesion during the game.
It all makes for good fun. Good luck.
