Less dense then oxygen, It resonates in the larynx at a higher freq.

Realize huffing helium is a good way to kill yourself since there is no oxygen in helium. Recently some stupid people got inside a helium filled "balloon" and ended up dieing.

Because it constricts your vocal cords. Just like when someone chokes you, your voice goes higher too.
