In history, a man had the name Andrea Doria, and he was an admiral of the city of Genoa. In 1574, Andrea Doria led an allied fleet of ships of France, Spain, and several Italian cities to victory against the Turks at the battle of Lepanto. Until then, the Turks had launched annual series of raids called razzias against western countries in the Mediterranean. So you might consider telling any one else who asks, "Hi! I'm Andrea! As in Andrea Doria! And I'm willing to punch out the next guy who thinks that I can't stand up for myself!"
