regardless the fact that lippi has won a world cup, and wenger might won more head to head clashes, since sir alex first silverware as manager, man u has never been without a silverware...he won all the major competitions and his gladiators are more feared. he can honed unknown talents to world superstars....and can released his best talent at any given time and still be competitive. he has what i would say a 'da vinci' technique that other coaches need to decode/uncode to find the 'holy grail' (silverwares)...

A great tactician is someone who can change style of play in subbing one player or two.

I hate to say it but Jose Mourinho has done really well. He can easily substitue Drogba or Crespo and change from passing game to long ball game.

He can also sub it either put Robben in to use flanks for attacking.
