Help! I have a dance coming up and I was wondering what I should wear. I do not have that much to spend. I would also like to know what color nails I should pain them to go with my outfit and what should I do with my make up? HELP! I am in 6th grade also so I do not want anything really showie!

It is just a plan dance I do not think there is a Theme it is like jeans and a cute shirt or somethig like that! It is our last dance so it is a fun one.

Hey well I'll try to help as best I can. OK so it sounds like this dance is somewhat formal but not too formal right? OK so I found a really cute dress for a very small amount of money. It's kinda in between dressy and casual OK?

Ok for the nails you should do either a french manicure or a subtle pink so it looks great but it doesn't take away from the rest of the outfit.
For the make-up now!!
Ok for the eyes you should lightly dust them with a shimmery gold eyeshadow. For the eyeliner you should get a really subtle one (like grey) and slightly blend/smudge it so it looks very pretty and subtle. For the mascara you should get a plain black and apply a mediam ammount so you can see your eyes!
For the cheeks you should first apply coverup. Then you should lightly dust your cheeks with a rose blush. If you want it a little darker then you can apply a light lipstick onto your cheeks (NOT TOO MUCH THOUGH!!!!)
For the lips you should first apply a light pink lipstick. Then get a clear gloss and go over the lipstick with it.

when we had dances(or socials as they called them) in 6th grade,
people would just wear jeans and a polo.
you could even get away with a cute skirt!!!

You should wear jeans!!! They go with like anything!! Then pick like a cute t-shirt. When you find out the theme you can pick out a shirt that might go with that.

I remember when I was in middle school we used to wear dark-wash jeans with either a black tank or a black spaghetti strap top with a metallic belt. black is good because if you sweat it wont show. most people took their shoes off so it didnt matter what kind you wore. (but alot wore sneakers)

That's weird. I'm in 6th grade also and I don't even get dances. I think you should just wear what you feel most comfortable in.

I think you should were something turquoise. Probably a silk skirt with a colored tank under some sort of jacket.

im in 6th grade too unforturnally i do not know what type of dance this is your going to i would come up with something good but i need more info just change ur Q and tell the type of dance it is.

i might want to positioned on a pencil skirt, with apartments with bows on them and a three/4 sleeve white button up blouse, and massive funky gawky rings. (: and with light pores and skin bypass with blue/eco-friendly eyeshadow, and some mascara
