Are any of the techniques in the show Naruto actually real? I know that none of the jutsu are real but I know that the 8 trigrams is real, but is anything else?

I know for a fact that some of the weapons are real like the shuriken, kunai and throwing spikes and some of the techniques are real like the 8 trigrams which is a technique of Bagua Zhang, so more than likely there are some techniques which are real but alot of people dont know which techniques are real due to thier lack of knowing the different kinds of martial arts and their forms and techniques. But if you know what you are talking about then please feel free to answer.

They borrow some names from real martial arts techniques, and the characters move like real fighters, but nothing in the show is really possible in the real world.

The weapons are real. You can even make them yourself. I know for one thing on YouTube or other websites, they teach you how to make smoke bombs.
None of the jutsus are real, but, there is sometimes mentions of energy, similar to chakra.
In many legends, there are always mentions of spiritual or non-spiritual forces. These forces come from the mind, the body, the experience, the soul. I wonder if it's chakra they're talking about. =D
So...chakra >>>might<<< exist, in different forms and names. =D

The Suiken, or Drunken Fist, is based off of Zui Quan martial arts of China. Besides that, nothing much is real.

All the taijutsu not requiring kekkai genkai or chakra is all real, of course.

If you get a taser, you can create your own chidori.

It is Ba-Gua-Zhen. The formation of the eight trigrams.
Ba-Gua-Zhang? Please do not embarrass a native speaker.
Sodesune!! Taijutsu, and some movement employed by Neji is copied from Chinese martial arts and Karate. Neji's hand style really look very very chinese. Others stuffs are fantasy. And talking pigs and dogs....But in Feudal Japan, it is not uncommon for Shinobis to conceal snakes in their sleeves like the way Anko did. Shinobis dress up as women to play flutes with knives and scythes hidden inside their skirts, trousers, or their wide Yukata or Kimono garment conceal hidden weapons. Rock Lee's moves are real (60 %), like his high kicks and leg slits. Others like flying and jumping from one tree to another are not (Olympic high jumps are like 2.5m at most...). The backflips and cartwheels are real. Majority of the metal weapons are real. The 8 trigram is just a name borrowed from old chinese Wushu (aka Martial style or Martial art) techniques involving hand combat. (If I remember correctly from my ethnic background upbringing) Kakashi's 1000 year of thousand is actually a kid's prank played back in Japan (being a girl, it makes me feel like the way Sakura did....). When human strength is concerntrated at a point enough, it is possible to chop wood, but not a huge block as in the Konoha Lotus Technique. Some of the stuff definitely looks like Aikido to me.

But when dueling with swords in ancient china, ppl do come up with names for their attacks as they strike and call it out, such as Anko's "twin snakes strikes" using real snakes, although traditionally it would have been using real swords, or in Japan, a pair of Katanas or Kodachi. Anko's technique name is a real one. since chinese and japanese culture share much similarities, the names of some stuff goes hand in hand.

i visit't one elect besides the undeniable fact that it truly is between even as he makes use of the 9 tail fox ability and the rasengan! i recognize how Naruto used the 9 tail fox ability hostile to Haku and that i recognize the Rasengan because it truly is a efficient technique that took the fourth Hokage years to suitable and it in reality took Naruto little time to suitable! Even Kakashi, became in awe even as he seen that Naruto knew the Rasengan technique even as he became struggling with Sasuke. also, i like how he have his clones help him boost it.

Not really, some of them are. There is such a thing as taijutsue and genjutsue but not all the attacks and deffence is real. Taijutsue I know is real because that is mostly tae-kwon-do and karate.
