Most mp3 players have reasonably good sound. You can improve sound by
1. bit rate (higher bit rate will sound better) 2. good earphones ( the ones you usually get with an inexpensive mp3 player aren't that good. Buy some better ones and you will notice the difference.

It is the Mp3 the headphones don't change it, you could have some pretty expensive headphones and it would still suck. Each mp3 or ipod has its own unique way of downloading, it can download in high resolution, or low. Depending on which way it downloads, it can rock, or suck. I have a Siren Mp3 and it was about 60-80$ and it has better sound than my friends $150 ipod nano. So price doesn't matter, technically mp3's have better sound than ipods, and most Mp3's have radio too so you don't always have to listen to downloaded music. My recommendation is the Siren Mp3, radio, and great sound

I easily have a ingenious zen and no proceedings from it thus far. ingenious has a clean line of MP3 gamers Zen Stone. examine them out. they're going to extra healthful your funds. The sound high quality is tremendous although you'll nevertheless opt for to make investments in a fantastic high quality in-ear telephone. Cretive aurvana should be solid. This holds solid in spite of in case you bypass for Zen Shuffle or nano.

when downloading...use a higher BIT rate which will make it to where your conversion (music) file will download slower, what that does is keeps all of the music intact as much as possible during the conversion process. Using a lower BIT rate actually compress' more of the file taking away from the actual wav. file it started as.
