I used to... when I was younger :)
then again I also believe in the existence of unicorns, mermaids, sirens, gnomes, Pixies, fauns, trolls .... LOL! you name it.

I believe in fairies. Have you ever seen that movie Fairy Tale : A true story? It's about these two young girls who both believe in fairies and take photographs of them playing in their garden. This story is from the 1800s and mind you it is a true story. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle saw the photographs for himself and declared them "as genuine as the King's beard". While Harry Houdini who also takes a part is convinced that the fairies are real.
So maybe it is childish, but I still believe.
Also... i was in the Florida Keys a few years back and I swear to this day I saw a mermaid following me as I was walking out to a dock. She had blond hair and a greenish tail. But of course... who would believe that?

Yes. There are a lot of good books on this subject, I suggest anything by Edain McCoy. She is very knowledgeable, and there are techniques in her book for seeing fairies. - This way, you can find out for yourself, and not have to trust my answer :)
